A minor character in Layer 06 who talks to Lain when she is looking up information on KIDS. He can be considered a stereotypical netizen who associates with the famous people in the Wired (e.g. Lain) to further his own reputation among other users. Lain finds him annoying.
He takes the form of a toothy, grinning mouth, commenting that Lain is incredibly powerful to be able to manifest herself entirely in the Wired. The Cat goes on to say that most people can only manage ears. Lain calls him a wannabe Cheshire Cat.
