The scientist who invented the original KIDS system used in the infamous Kensington Experiment. He appears briefly in Layer 06 to discuss his findings with Lain. Lain strongly disapproves of his actions.
Conjecture
The creators of SEL may have designed him with early parapsychologists in mind. He shares a name with Australian spiritualist Richard Hodgson. Also, his face bears a resemblance to that of William James. Template:Characters
