Chiaki J. Konaka

Chiaki Konaka is the scenario writer for the Serial Experiments Lain anime and game. He is known for his dark storylines and for using cyberpunk or Lovecraftian concepts in his work - examples of these include Texhnolyze and Malice@Doll.

• Prior to doing SEL, he wrote the 1995 television drama Alice 6. Here are the names of the six main characters of the drama:

• He also wrote Alice in Cyberland, a 1996 OVA animation with some similarities to SEL.
