United States - Subtitled VHS Tapes - 1999

In addition to the English Dubbed VHS release, a set of English subtitled VHS tapes with original Japanese audio were also released in the United States.

There were a number of changes from the dubbed VHS tapes that made the subtitled variant unique:

  • The subtitled VHS tapes use a red mark on the spine of the tape's sleeve to note that the tapes are the subtitled variant.
  • The catalog number of each tape (for example, PIVA-2231S) will end in "S" for Subtitled, rather than "D" for Dubbed.
  • The subtitled VHS tapes were more expensive than the dubbed variants, with an MSRP of $29.98 per tape.

These differences have been marked in bold in the table below, to make them easier to visually parse.
