To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Serial Experiments Lain, a sequel to [[Cyberia Mix|Serial Experiments Lain: Cyberia Mix]], Cyberia Layer_2, was released. In addition to [[Wasei "J.J" Chikada|Chikada "J.J" Wasei]], the master of Club Cyberia, the following DJs and musicians were featured on the new album: Q’ HEY, the godfather of Techno, KO KIMURA, one of the pioneers of House, Hideo Kobayashi, a DJ who has released music on various labels all over the world, and TaQ, a composer who produces a wide range of music from game soundtracks to symphonies.

Album was presented on the 20th Lain anniversary event on the 7th of July 2018 at CIRCUS Tokyo club, which also featured [[Chiaki J. Konaka|Chiaki Konaka]], [[Yoshitoshi ABe|Yoshitoshi ABe]] and [[Kaori Shimizu|Shimizu Kaori]].
